Birdwave
Technolgical Sculputre, 2023, Vyksa.  

The installation “Birdwave” consists of many birdhouses and is a metaphor for a shared home as a unity of many. Several feeders and birdhouses in Vyksa parks record the sounds of birds and transmit them to the central sound sculpture, which synthesizes a sound stream from them, available both near the sculpture and from anywhere in the world online.

Birds notice people better than bird people. The object draws attention to their existence and helps residents see Vyksa in a new way and feel like part of a single whole.
