Project Evaluation Tool

Stage 3: Evaluation

Now that you’ve defined your goals (Module 1) and identified your core values (Module 2), you can evaluate your projects using the Project Evaluation Sheet.

Prepare

1. Open & Copy the Sheet

• Open the Project Evaluation Sheet.

• Make a copy and save it to your Google Drive.

2. List Your Projects (Column A)

• Enter the name of each project you’re working on or considering.

3. Identify the Project Type (Column B)

• Ongoing: No specific end date.

• Time-Sensitive: Has a deadline or defined timeframe.

4. Copy Your Main Goal & Values

• Reference your main goal (from Module 1) and the top 5 values (from Module 2).

• These become your evaluation criteria.

Evaluate

1. Score Each Project

• For every project, rate the following on a 0–10 scale:

• Alignment with Goal

• Alignment with Each of Your 5 Values

• Excitement Level (How much does it energize you?)

• Resources Needed (A “10” means it requires a lot of resources; a “0” means minimal.)

• The sheet will calculate a final score (in the “Score” cell).

2. Rank Your Projects

• Sort or look at the final scores.

• Highest-Scoring Projects are most aligned with your goal and values.

• Lowest-Scoring Projects may need to be postponed or eliminated.

That’s it! This process helps you see which projects deserve priority and which may no longer serve your goals and values.

It is time to reflect.
